The Reading section of the SAT gauges your ability to interpret information. Reading comprehension is understanding what you've read. This involves making connections to what you've read, while using vocabulary to learn what the author is saying. You should read out loud and add reading to your hobbies at home to make sure that you are learning to read well. Complete the reading lesson here and we will discuss your progress. We will focus on the practice of this skill using sample reading passages.
Today we will discuss reading comprehension strategies for the SAT. Afterwards, you will have a quiz to test your knowledge.
We will practice you over identifying information in charts and graphs as well as correcting English mechanics such as grammar, punctuation, and syntax. You will be expected to complete short quiz assignments to test your knowledge.
In this session, you will get experience in identifying the 8 parts of speech. You will also get practice with SAT Writing and Language Questions.
